Rules

REGULAR SEASON RULES/ HIGH SCHOOL RULES

1. A PITCHER CAN ONLY PITCH 9 INNINGS IN TWO CONSECUTIVE GAMES.

2. AFTER 1ST INNING, PITCHER RECEIVES 2 PITCHES TO START.

3. A GAME SHALL LAST 6 INNINGS OR 2 HOURS, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.

EXCEPTION: 1 1⁄2 HOUR TIME LIMIT WHEN SCHOOL IS IN SESSION.

4. THERE WILL BE NO UNNECESSARY PEOPLE IN THE DUGOUTS.

5. ALL OTHER RULES WILL REVERT BACK TO HIGH SCHOOL RULES.

6. NO MORE THAN 7 RUNS CAN BE SCORED IN AN INNING BY ANY TEAM. EXCEPTION TO THE LAST INNING WHICH IS UNLIMITED RUNS.

7. RUN RULE IS 10 RUNS IN THE 4TH & 8 RUNS IN THE 5th. (All players must play 1 full inning in order for game to end)

8. MAY SUB PLAYERS FROM MINOR LEAGUE TEAMS OR OTHER JUNIOR LEAGUE PLAYERS THAT ARE AGES 10-11. ALL MINOR LEAGUE GIRLS THAT PLAY/SUB, ON A JUNIOR LEAGUE TEAM MUST WEAR THEIR MINOR LEAGUE UNIFORMS. THIS HELPS OTHER JUNIOR LEAGUE COACHES KNOW WHO THE PLAYER IS AND WHICH TEAM SHE CAME FROM.

9. INTERNATIONAL TIE BREAKER. WHEN GAME IS AT TIME LIMIT OR ENTERING THE 7TH INNING. (The player that was called for the final out, must be the player that starts on base for the tiebreaker inning)

10.LINE UP CARDS MUST STATE PITCHING INNINGS ALLOWED FOR ALL PITCHERS BEFORE THE GAME. (Any discrepancy must be handled with league official before game starts)

11.TEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO BAT THE ROSTER. IF A PLAYER BECOMES INJURED THEY CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE LINEUP WITHOUT AN OUT BEING TAKEN WHEN THEY ARE UP. ONCE A PLAYER EXITS THE LINEUP THEY CANNOT RETURN TO THE GAME.

12.FOR 3RD GAME BETWEEN TEAMS, WORST RECORD TEAM IS HOME. COIN FLIP IF RECORD IS A TIE.

13. THERE MUST BE AT LEAST 5 MINUTES REMAINING IN THE TIME LIMIT TO START ANOTHER INNING

14. A GAME SHALL LAST 6 INNINGS OR 2 HOURS WHICH EVER COMES FIRST. EXCEPTION: THERE WILL BE NO TIME LIMIT ON THE FINAL GAME.

15. ALL MINOR LEAGUE FIRLS THAT PLAY ON A JUNIOR LEAGUE TEAM MUST WEAR THEIR MINOR LEAGUE UNIFORMS. THIS HELPS OTHER JUNIOR LEAGUE COACHES KNOW WHO THE PLAYER IS AND WHERE SHE CAME FROM.

16. THERE WILL BE NO UNNECESSARY PEOPLE IN THE DUGOUTS.

17.NO MORE THAN 12 RUNS CAN BE SCORED IN AN INNING BY ANY TEAM. EXCEPTION TO THE LAST INNING WHICH IS UNLIMITED RUNS. THIS RULE DOES NOT APPLY TO FINAL GAME.

18.ALL OTHER RULES WILL REVERT BACK TO HIGH SCHOOL RULES.

19.UNLIMITED PITCHING

20.RUN RULE IS 10 RUNS IN THE 4TH & 8 RUNS IN THE 5th. (All players must play 1 full inning in order for game to end.)
